Nike is set to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Air Max 95 by bringing back the iconic ‘Neon’ colorway in April. This release is special as it features the original “Big Bubble” Air unit design, a nostalgic callback to the sneaker’s debut in 1995. The ‘Neon’ colorway, with its striking green accents paired with neutral greys, has remained a fan favorite for decades. With this drop, Nike continues its tradition of paying homage to its most beloved models, tapping into the growing demand for retro releases.
In recent years, Nike has made serious efforts to restore the original shapes and constructions of its earliest Air Max models, further fueling the excitement around these releases. In 2020, the remastered Air Max 90 was released, offering a more faithful version of the original. Similarly, Nike also released an earlier prototype of the Air Max 1, initially intended for release in 1986. The 2025 version of the Air Max 95 ‘Neon’ builds on this momentum, presenting what is arguably the best version of the sneaker in over two decades.
Mark your calendars as the Nike Air Max 95 ‘Neon’ returns in April.
